His mother, Fanny Atkinson (1862-1941, born in Liverpool), was listed as his wife they also had a daughter, Mary Ann, aged 6. His father, Fred Atkinson (1865-1940, born in Blackpool), was listed as a Railway Engine Stoker at the local depot. The 1901 census shows that Frederick was born in 1899 in Fleetwood.
